Eastern Frenchman Bay with Michael Daugherty
The “quiet side” of Frenchman Bay has much to offer, but if conditions allow, the rugged south and east shores of Ironbound Island, as well as the remote lighthouse on Egg Rock will be highlights of this trip, with an emphasis on journeying skills: route selection and navigation, understanding currents and conditions, and of course, choosing the perfect spot (perhaps requiring a challenging landing) for lunch. Along the way we can work on refining maneuvering skills and maybe even get a peek into a sea cave.
