Train to become an ACA-certified kayak instructor.  This 3-day format combines instructor training with instructor certification.  This event is appropriate for paddlers who have had some instruction in protected waters, and are interested in refining their personal paddling skills and developing effective approaches to teach the complete range of basic kayak touring skills. 

This combined training/assessment format (only available at L2 and below) offers a convenient way for new instructors to begin teaching kayaking in protected waters.  The venue for Level 2 instruction is near-shore, with wind less than 10 knots and waves below 1 foot.  Candidates must be at least 18 years old for assessment, be ACA members, and for certification to be valid, they must maintain valid CPR and First Aid certification and SEIC membership.
