British Canoeing Core Coach Training, provided by Todd Wright of Synaptic Sport. This 2-day mostly practical training lays a foundation applicable to coaching all disciplines of paddlesport. This is a pre-requisite for those seeking BC Coaching certification. A discipline-specific Sea Kayak Coach training is offered immediately following this course, on May 3rd and 4th.

Todd Wright has been coaching sea and whitewater kayakers for over 20 years. He is a BCU Level 5 Coach, holds the British Canoeing Level 4 Diploma, has a Master’s degree in Education from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, and a Masters in Performance Coaching from the University of Stirling in Scotland.
