Coach Todd Johnstone-Wright (with an assist from Nate) is offering three days of British Canoeing Sea Kayak Leader training, including Coastal Navigation and Tidal Planning. This comprehensive and thoughtful program (formerly known as 4-star Sea Leader Award) is a benchmark leadership award in the world of sea kayaking. Sea Leader training is an excellent opportunity both for aspiring guides and for weekend paddlers who wish to formalize their experience, to more safely and successfully plan and organize their own salty adventures with friends.

Sunday, July 25th, we are offering a Rough Water Skills Tune-up which can serve as a nice lead-in to this BC Sea Leader training.

Todd Wright has been coaching sea and whitewater kayakers for over 20 years. He is a BCU Level 5 Coach, holds the British Canoeing Level 4 Diploma, has a Master’s degree in Education from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, and a Masters in Performance Coaching from the University of Stirling in Scotland.
