Our popular Whitewater for Sea Kayakers series is an opportunity to open your mind and expand your paddling skills. This whitewater skills development will help you adapt your existing skills to the river environment and to whitewater boats. Appropriate both for skilled sea kayakers getting their first taste of WW paddling, and for existing WW paddlers looking to increase their understanding and proficiency on the river. Participants have found that their time on the river brought marked improvements to their sea kayaking, plus, a few of them found a new hobby!
Hosted by Todd Wright (ACA L4 WW IT, L5 Sea ITE, BCU L5 Sea Coach, BC L4 Coaching Diploma), and assisted by Nate Hanson (ACA L4 WW Instructor, L5 Sea Instructor, L4 Sea IT). We’re looking forward to a great time and some excellent learning for everyone on the river!
We’ll base the course in Central Vermont, to take advantage of the reliable whitewater rivers in that area, such as the White and the Connecticut.
$170 per day, plus $25/day equipment fee (Pyranha boats, Werner paddles, etc)
