This Rescue, Bracing and Strokes tune-up allows students to expand their skills in a comfortable learning environment, without the distractions of crashing waves or looming rocks.  In this relaxed-pace full-day session on calm water, we'll improve balance and comfort in the kayak, and learn or tune-up important safety skills like assisted rescues, self-rescues, and bracing. We’ll also work on strokes and turns, to improve your ease and efficiency for getting around in your sea kayak. 
This course is equally suitable as a first time introduction to these skills, or to shake off the cob-webs and pick up some new refinements on skills you’ve learned in the past.
