Spring has sprung, and it’s time to get back at it! Kick off your paddling season with 3-days of skills development and challenging play in the excellent kayaking venues of the Mount Desert Island area.

This three-day format will allow us to focus on underlying fundamental themes of paddling performance as well as planning and management for safe play in coastal environments. Participants will have the opportunity to partake in a L3 Skills Assessment as well (making this a great warm-up for the L3 Instructor trainings in late May and late June)
The relationships that can be developed over a longer course, between coach and participants as well as among the participants, has the benefit of providing for more personal and individualized instruction than is possible in a series of one-day classes.  (Preference will therefore be given to students who are available for all three days of this course.)
