Hey Paddling Friends!

Happy winter! The ground is hard, good ice is in the forecast, and my kayak racks are organized for the snowy months. (To help lighten those racks, you can check out the big DECEMBER GEAR SALE! Details below.)

I’d like to thank you all for joining me this past year for all sorts of kayaking adventures and learning. I’ll be planning a bunch more fun next season, including repeats of our popular destination courses, like the Downeast Leadership Week in Lubec, and Whitewater for Sea Kayakers at Seboomook Roll Dams in northern Maine. I’m looking forward to more partnerships with Todd Wright of Synaptic Sport in 2023, as well as other colleagues who will be joining me in my favorite Maine paddling spots.

As I consider the course schedule for 2023, I’d love to hear from you about your interests and aspirations for next season. Send me an email with course requests, or just give me an update about your best paddling days in the past year. Whatever the subject, I’d be happy to hear from you!
